Professional, Knowledge Management & Instructional Design (CRM)
Status: Full-time, Exempt
This role works with the CRM staff, Marketing & Communications, Business Areas, and the IT Development team to develop the training program for specific CRM initiatives and applications. This position will design, write, and develop instructor-led and technology delivered courses using content developmental tools and will work with business experts to refine course content based on process and training needs, while meeting MVP brand and communication standards. The Instructional Designer will implement and follow a systematic design process for effective and efficient learning and will work closely with staff to integrate best practices in developing technology-enhanced and blended courses. In addition to the content itself, the role will also deliver training and assist with developing appropriate program evaluation measures in order to assess the effectiveness of each training module; such as knowledge checks and course assessments. The Instructional Designer provides outstanding service and contributes to the organization’s vision of MVP is making health insurance more convenient, more supportive, and more personal.
Minimum Education: BA or BS degree in a relevant field such as instructional technology, educational technology, or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
Minimum Experience: • 3+ years of instructional design and/or knowledge management experience. Able to provide a portfolio of training user guides, presentations decks, and other supporting material. • 3+ years' experience developing blended learning, including online, on-demand courses, as well as live webinars and other instructor-led learning. • Experience with eLearning authoring • Experience communicating technical information to a variety of audiences • Proven ability in developing engaging and effective training curriculum to provide essential knowledge and enhance user adoption. • Knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles. • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. • Demonstrated competency in areas of interpersonal skills, writing skills, effective communication, facilitation, coaching, organization skills, and presentation skills.
Desirable Experience: • 3+ years’ experience with a major CRM system as a trainer, instructional designer, or SME. • A detailed understanding of workflows and system configuration. • Microsoft Dynamics CRM certifications • Understanding of health care insurance industry • Establishing learning and performance metrics and measurements (ROI & Benchmarking) • Applying or supporting knowledge management tools in effecting culture, organizational behavior, and business processes. • CKM (Certified Knowledge Manager) certification • Experience with HTML and UI/UX Design • Experience with agile development methodologies
