Position Summary

Incumbent serves as dedicated Supply Chain Manager for a designated client.  Responsible for the development and performance of a Best in Class Supplier Network through effective supplier selection, performance management, communication, financial analysis, and metric analysis. Partners with Account Management and Operations to drive SIRVA network utilization along with customer and client satisfaction in support of company goals and departmental strategies.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities


Develops/delivers reporting and manages client-requested projects (including sourcing activities) in alignment with customer expectations.  Continuously develops and maintains an overall client supplier strategy while aligning with SIRVA’s overall Supply Chain Management practices and policies.


Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  1. 80(%)

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and client to identify client-specific Supply Chain requirements

  • Collaborate with Account Management to effectively position SIRVA Supply Chain providers, capabilities, and practices

  • Conduct sourcing exercises, as required
  • Manage client-specific contracts, as required, and ensure successful training/onboarding of new suppliers
  • Implement standard processes to meet SIRVA and client-directed service level agreements (SLAs)

  • Manage supplier performance and improvement initiatives; provide quality and performance analysis reports in alignment with client-specific needs
  • Act as primary Supply Chain contact and subject matter expert for client Account Management and Operations teams
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain team to provide research on market data/trends; translate findings into client reporting
  • Create and assist with internal training for Account Management and Operations team on Supply Chain best practices and categories
  • Participate in client presentations and client reviews as needed
  • Support for RFPs, RFIs, and re-bids for existing client business

  • Coordinate with Supply Chain team to ensure that short and long-term goals align with SIRVA’s strategic objectives
  • Develop and implement service strategies on a global basis based on best practices, market conditions, global, regional and local needs.
  • Support initiatives to maximize value, minimize cost and increase revenue

  • Perform market analysis and new supplier research based on need
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions, economic changes or changes in the industry that may affect vendor performance, operational efficiency, and revenue



  • 5 to 10 years of experience in supplier management

  • Strong knowledge of global relocation programs and practices

  • CRP or GMS certification a plus

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Graduate degree a plus

  • Strong influencing, negotiation, coaching, analytical and consulting skills

  • Strong relationship management skills

  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions, both at a strategic and tactical level

  • Results driven, with the ability to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously

  • Strong ethics and values

  • Attention to detail, highly organized and deadline-focused

  • Process oriented with the ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement

  • Ability to lead change and drive revenue growth
