The Loan Processor is responsible for reviewing loan applications, creating condition checklist, reviewing conditions with borrowers and clearing conditions. The Loan Processor is also expected to work within Loan Counselor/Closing team and be available for customer contact as needed.

Process Loans
• FHA/VA file capabilities
• Occasionally work with Global and/or High Level loan transactions
• Utilize technical knowledge of the mortgage industry in unison with specific knowledge of relocation policies and practices to underwrite loan files, collect and review documentation and create loan decisions to ensure the highest level of customer service
• Make independent decisions based on interpretations of mortgage lending guidelines to create condition checklists and communicate with borrowers to acquire required conditions
• Analyze data and appraisals specific to providing secondary with loans acceptable to the secondary market
• Deliver loans, which are in purchasable condition, to the Secondary Department
• Submit loans through underwriting systems, underwriters and/or investors for approval
Communicate with Borrowers & Interested Parties
• Interface with team including Borrower, Loan Counselor and Closer
• Rely on technical knowledge of mortgage industry to communicate approval process to borrowers and provide critical information to enable them to understand the process
• Rely on skills to communicate and interact with agents, underwriters and team to provide key information to borrowers to successfully bring loans to closure
• Complete all positional skills sets presented in the Training Program

• 1+ years processing mortgage loans required
• Annual volume of 250 closed loans
• Expectations include maintaining scores of at least 80% or higher on all position metrics
• Some basic mortgage banking courses in underwriting and appraisal required
• Successfully completed at least 1 full year at Tier 1 or industry equivalent
• Have a thorough knowledge of the mortgage process

• High School diploma required
• College degree preferred
