Summary:

The Corporate Account Representative is responsible for developing and growing existing and prospective customer relationships, identifying new opportunities and promote the company’s products and services within the Houston, TX marketplace.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new opportunities
  • Collaborate with designated company personnel to create and conduct effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify prospects’ business objectives and Select Energy Services’ approach to supporting them
  • Provide market intelligence/competition/trends/status/progress to supervisor and established information sharing channels
  • Participate in industry trade shows and other marketing and public relations events
  • Complete all required reporting in timely manner
  • Stress personal and business ethics as the number one priority in dealing with Client and Company personnel
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within the assigned territory
  • Participate in and complete company – required training programs
  • Participate in Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives as set forth by the company

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree preferred (not mandatory), or 5+ year’s of relevant work experience within the oil and gas industry
  • Working knowledge of oilfield services utilized during drilling, infrastructure and completion operations
  • 5+ yrs. Experience in a customer-facing role with a strong track record of relationship management and account development
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to influence key decision-makers
  • Prior experience coordinating and determining a focused sales strategy by facilitating, organizing and initiating the sales effort
  • Frequent personal contact with key client personnel to develop and understanding of current and future projects/ expectations
  • Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, organizational and planning skills
  • Must possess valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Select’s insurance guidelines
