Business Product Manager

Do you have the ability to develop, communicate and implement efficient product roadmaps and operational plans?  We have an immediate need for a Business Product Manager.  The Business Product Manager uses their entrepreneurial/intrapreneurial mindset, technical knowledge, finance modeling, and business principals to develop and operationalize innovative new customer products in existing and new markets.  You will have full accountability for the creation and execution of the product strategy and revenue growth strategies for the PipeSafe product line.  In turn, we provide competitive pay, a robust benefits package, training and development and opportunities for advancement.  If you are ready for a challenging and fast-paced position, contact the Regional Water Authority with your application.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development cycle for new products and services from conceptualization to product launch

  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitors to ensure that products stay competitive

  • Develop new and existing product/service program requirements; assess innovative requirement solution alternatives; recommend profitable methods for accommodating requirements; develop program implementation plans

  • Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines; appraise new product ideas and product changes

  • Bring new products and services to market by analyzing product requirements and product development programs

  • Lead cross functional program implementation

  • Build business relationships with partners, suppliers and related stakeholders

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, entrepreneurship, engineering or related area, with 5 or more years of related experience

  • Experience with profit and loss statement management

  • Demonstrated program management skills with a successful record of accomplishment in managing multiple programs

  • Experience with direct mail marketing and business to consumer sales

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to describe technical considerations in economic terms

  • MBA preferred
