Clinical Product Manager:
RxBenefits is hiring! We are adding a Product Manager who will focus on Pharmacy Benefits Program Management (PBM) to our Birmingham based Product Management team. The Clinical/PBM Product Manager is responsible for defining market requirements and packaging the features into product releases. This position involves close interaction with the market, development leads, product architects, and key customers. A strong pharmacy industry background is required. Job duties include gathering requirements from existing and potential customers as well as recent evaluators, writing market requirements documents or Agile product backlogs, and monitoring the implementation of each product.
Tracks individual product performance by benefit design, market segment and geography.
Supports the development of short and long term strategic product plans in support of market, sales and profitability objectives.
Partners with PBMs to achieve superior execution of product strategy in the marketplace.
Identifies system needs to support short and long term product strategy.
Develops, implements and maintains competitive product platform roadmap.
Develops system requirements and ROI metrics.
Supports the development of short and long term strategic pharmacy programs in support of marketing and sales objectives.
Maintain a status dashboard and roadmap for PBM and RxBenefit’s Clinical Advantage Program (CAP) products.
Manage CAP product from Gate 0 through launch, working closely with the clinical strategy team and product marketing to gather, present, and prioritize product innovation.
Manage the PBM product from intake, innovation and launch, maintaining the roadmap of work and status of work for tracking and reporting.
Meet PBM partners and become the main point of contact for PBM programs.
Strong Pharmacy Industry or Clinical background including the understanding of the pharmacy claim adjudication process.
Strong process improvement and vendor management skills.
Ability to gather complex customer requirements when pursuing new additions or changes to the product.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to deliver presentations.
Active interviewing/listening skills to identify market problems and evaluate solutions.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
Comfortable with a Matrix Management environment, ability to manage resources up, down, and sideways.
