Hospital Pharmacy Operations Analyst


Purpose:


The Hospital Pharmacy Operations Analyst will partner with our Hospital & Strategic Markets account teams to help our clients optimize their onsite resources and achieve strategic goals. He/she will serve as a resource to help educate our prospective Hospital clients on the unique and valuable product offerings that we provide. This role may work remotely and requires approximately 50% travel throughout the US.


Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Work with the Hospital & Strategic Markets team to identify the unique initiatives of our Hospital clients

  • Partner with onsite pharmacies, disease management, clinics and physician population to deliver solutions that optimize benefits for the employees of our Hospital clients

  • Serve as the subject matter expert of our capabilities around Hospital offerings and pharmacy operational strategies

  • Ability to provide data and financial analysis for clients

  • Understanding of pharmacy operational systems, processes and flow

  • Partner with hospitals and clients to access and provide strategies related to their 340B program

  • Continually examine the market landscape to anticipate and interpret regulatory requirement changes

  • Standardize our analytics offerings process to create a product that demonstrates the financial value of our services

Required Skills / Experience Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 5+ years related industry experience and/or training, preferred

  • Professional experience in an onsite hospital pharmacy and supporting onsite hospital personnel

  • Extensive experience working with Hospitals / Health Systems

  • Understanding of how onsite pharmacies operate and how they can be leveraged for the employees of the hospital

  • Intimate knowledge in 340B, GPO / Own use pricing

  • Experience working within a sales organization. Establishing sales strategies and tracking to those metrics

  • Project management, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

  • Capable of interfacing well at all levels within a large organization and client base

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with limited supervision or within a group or team
