Royal is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the growing Finance team. If you are passionate about making a difference, gathering and analyzing data, and growing your career, this role may be a great fit for you.
The financial analyst will provide support to the Vice President of Finance and other Senior Leadership with the analysis and information they need to make major financial and strategic decisions by providing profitability analysis, assisting with forecasting and budgeting, financial reporting, cost/benefit analysis, trend analysis and ad hoc financial analysis.
As a Financial Analyst you will:
Evaluate financial results by analyzing trends, monitoring variances, identifying trends and recommending actions to management.
Identify various balance sheet risks including credit risk, concentration risk, interest rate risk, liquidity risk, prepayment risk, etc.
Develop assumptions and financial models to forecast future results.
Complete financial analysis on products, services, operations. Provide written synopsis of results including opinion and recommending actions to management.
Complete peer analysis to analyze profitability, trends, and key ratios.
Assist management with the annual budget.
Represent the Finance team on corporate projects and provide cost benefit analysis for key corporate projects.
This position is anticipated to have a start date no earlier than May of 2020. This is a full-time, exempt level position. Hours will generally be Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm with occasional evening and weekend hours, as needed.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
Minimum of five years’ experience working in Finance/Accounting.
Communicate and live RCU's core purpose and values, these define and drive our organizational culture
Financial Institution experience in cost accounting or asset/liability.
Three years of financial analyst experience.
