As part of Prometric Product Line Marketing team, this position will work collaboratively on the overall growth strategy and execution for the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) CP & SCP certification in emerging markets.  SHRM is a strategic partner to Prometric and the individual will be responsible for managing market develop initiatives and delivering long-term growth strategies, experiential platforms and programs, and product marketing for the certification brand.

 

How You Will Make A Difference

  • Work in partnership with SHRM to execute strategic direction, consumer messaging efforts and the global vision of the SHRM CP & SCP certification, with a strong focus on growth in China, India and the Middle East.

  • Support both revenue growth and profitability, in connection with our five-year strategic plan and financial forecast, through deep partnership with each SHRM region and our regional leadership teams.

  • Lead the marketing development of the long-term vision for SHRM CP & SCP certification. Inspires their cross-functional counterparts to think conceptually and develop big ideas while concurrently supporting the team on the process of bringing ideas to life.

  • Manage and execute integrated, multi-channel product and content marketing programs intended to accelerate sales cycles and grow the business.

  • Coordinate with marketing partners and SHRM to execute events, develop marketing assets, digital marketing campaigns, competitive differentiation and compelling storylines for taking products to market.

  • Regularly review marketing performance using metrics and analytics, making recommendations and adapting marketing plans to incorporate best practices.        

    What You Bring

  •  4+ years of experience in Market Development, Advertising or related field.

  • Educational/Position Requirements: This role requires a BA or BS degree in Business, Marketing or related field of study. An MBA is preferred.

  • Experience with Marketing Automation, Channel Partners, Digital Marketing Intelligence Tools and Database Enrichment

  • Proven success in creating and delivering strategic market develop initiatives.

  • Ability to successfully manage complex projects.

  • Proven skills in managing agency/vendor partners, including negotiating and managing fees and directing/evaluating brand communications campaigns.

  • Analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong presentation development skills required.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and formal presentations.

  • Drive for operational results including budgets, timelines and efficiencies.

  • International Advertising experience preferred.

  • Understanding of Human Resources industry/community preferred.
