Port Ops - Port Supervisor
SEA PORT OPS SUPERVISOR
1. In the absence of the manager act as the “point-of-contact” for airline representatives and employees for any issues that arise. Handle first response appropriately and in accordance to company policies. Report to manager in a timely manner as is appropriate per the situation.
2. Accurately report call-ins (employee name and time) and other attendance issues to manager.
3. Allow and ensure that employees Clock in employees early only when needed and send people home early when possible. Will be held accountable for the justification of starting someone early or keeping someone on the clock. Do not allow employees to sit without working, and wait until a certain time to clock out – when they are done working they are to clock out.
4. Enforce the established expectations of job duties and shift behavior for all employees on a shift. Report any issues to manager.
5. Follow company guidelines and regulations set forth by corporate and local management regarding all aspects of your employment – dress, attendance, behavior, etc. 6. Keep open lines of communication with management, feel free to make suggestions, disagree, etc., but at all times represent yourself to the customer and employees as a unified management team who supports each other and established procedures/guidelines.
