The position is designed to provide real-life, hands-on experience in marketing, social media, and event planning while supporting of Marketing and Sales initiatives to ensure park and departmental objectives are met.  Identify market potential, present ticket and park information to prospects, and monitor competition. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining all park social media outlets including website updates, answering guest’s questions, comments, feedback, posts, tweets (Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/etc.), daily social campaign updates and online reviews. 




  • Engage guests and prospects through various mediums; develop sales collateral and presentations, make product appealing to the target market, develop sales flyers, videos, compile testimonials, etc.

  • Responsible for content creation across all social channels.

  • Daily monitoring of guest photos across social channels to gather user generated content.

  • Responsible for taking in-park photos to be used for social posts.

  • Assist with creation of direct mail campaigns.

  • Create and execute online contests and campaigns designed to increase social engagement and increase email acquisition.

  • Responsible for overseeing a network of Bloggers.

  • Execute marketing and sales campaigns to drive traffic to the website, increase online ticket sales, revenue and park attendance.

  • Assist with planning, coordination, and day-of execution for in-park events.

  • Generate market analysis by monitoring website, pricing, and social posts of competition.

  • Assist with Group Sales as needed

  • Assist Marketing Manager with special projects as needed





  • Experience in sales, customer service, event planning, or related field. Equivalent experience or coursework will be considered.

  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office required.

  • Enthusiastic team player with a can-do attitude.

  • Must possess the ability to work independently.

  • Design experience preferred.

  • Aptitude for customer service.

  • Ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.

  • Possess good time management, organization, record keeping, and communication skills.

  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and extended hours during operating season.
