Ensure hotel guest satisfaction and revenues are optimized through check –in, check-out, and attentive coordination of hotel services for the guest.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Register guests checking in and /or checking out of the hotel in a prompt and courteous manner.

  2. Prepare for group check-ins and check-outs, and respond to hotel service requests.

  3. Book guest reservations and coordinate with reservations center.

  4. Resolve guest complains and make appropriate management and co-workers aware of action(s).

  5. Process customer payments according to established policies and procedures. Responsible for balancing drawer at the end of shift.

  6. Perform telecommunications for hotel guests in addition to inter-departmental communications.

  7. Notify supervisor of incidents of conflicts that affect normal business operations or guest services.

  8. Maintain procedures for security of monies, guest security and emergency procedures.

  9. Maintain procedures for hotel accounting, credit control and handling of financial transactions.

  10. Perform in compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations.

  11. Must remain visible and standing at assigned station for guest service during eight hour shift.

  12. Must maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times in accordance with hotel standards of Grooming and standards of Conduct.

  13. Perform any duty requested of you by your supervisor.

  14. Must always make satisfaction a priority within the guidelines.

  15. Be willing to assist in any other department/task that may ask for his/her assistance.
