The Assistant Program Coordinator, Clinical Team, will work closely with the clinical team member assigned to each group home in this training position. The Assistant Program Coordinator will assist the clinical team member completing clinical checklists relevant to Behavior Assistant Training (BAT) and each consumer’s Behavior Support Plan (BSP). The Assistant Program Coordinator will meet with their respective clinical team member once a month to discuss all consumers’ progress, the entire clinical team monthly for additional training and to discuss progress, and the entire clinical team monthly for additional training and to discuss relevant clinical issues.
Initial training will be provided by the clinical team..
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
-Trains staff and monitors staff performance on skill acquisition programs,
-Implement behavior plans
-Completion of all required clinical paperwork
-Assist the Behavior Analyst in completing clinical checklists relevant to Behavior
Assistant Training (BAT), and each consumer’s Behavior Support Plan
Requirements:
-High School Diploma or GED, college degree preferred
-One-year direct experience in a human services, disabilities and/or educational
environment preferred
-Experience in running skill acquisition programs, taking behavior data, and completing clinical paperwork preferred
-Demonstrated staff training skills and knowledge of individual’s BSPs and skill acquisition programs.
-Computer experience preferred
-2+years of Driving Experience with Valid Driver’s License
-Ability to lift 50 pounds
