Intern, KCC Data Analyst

The Internship Program

BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
Kubota Credit Corporation, U.S.A. (KCC) is looking for an energetic and articulate individual to join our Operations Support team. KCC’s Operations Support team is responsible for implementing new systems and processes, providing reports and analysis and ensuring all KCC operational departments and Kubota dealers have the necessary tools they need to support the entire lending life cycle.
Through the creation of reports and queries this intern position will contribute to analyzing KCC’s credit, funding and delinquent account processes. This analysis will help identify trends in loan performance and drive strategy improvements across KCC.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:
1.Create and run queries using KCC credit decision, funding and delinquency data
2.Analyze reports to identify trends in loan and dealer performance
3.Analyze reports to identify opportunities in delinquent account collections practices
4. Review existing daily, weekly and monthly reports for areas of improvement with the query creation
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND TRAINING:
Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited University, as a junior or senior working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business or related field.GPA 3.0 or above.
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND:
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
SQL or PL/SGL experience
Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
Experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Powerpoint, and Excel
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
EQUIPMENT OPERATION (% of time, description, nature of service):
Office equipment including computer, copier, fax, phone, printer
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
