Scope:



Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Performs manual operations related to the filling, packaging, and casing of liquid cosmetics and other consumer products in accordance with applicable SOPs and Work Instructions.

  • Complete assigned work on a production line efficiently and effectively. Such work may include such activities as:

    • Loading bottles into fillers.

    • Applying pumps to bottles

    • Sorting out defective components or finished products.

    • Assembling container/closure/carton systems

    • Packing cases

    • Stacking pallets

  • Perform visual and/or manual quality checks as required and report discrepancies found to Line Leader.

  • Follow established safety procedures.

  • All work is performed in a manner consistent with the TTL Quality System and FDA’s Good Manufacturing Practices Regulations.

    Other Job Functions:

  • Record information as work is completed according to procedures

  • Keeps production areas clean and orderly at all times

  • May be trained to operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.

  • Return empty containers to appropriate areas.

  • Perform duties and tasks as assigned.

    Education and Experience:



    One (1) to Two (2) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of basic math and comprehension skills.

  • Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets and safety precautions of tasks involved.

  • Good understanding of FDA Good Manufacturing Practices Regulations (GMP’s).

  • Capable of lifting items up to 50 pounds,

  • Understanding/following written instructions.

  • Ability to adapt to rotating assignments with a positive attitude and results.

  • Ability to stand and move around for long periods of time.

  • Must have the physical skills and ability to work a flexible schedule around frequently changing production
    demands.



    Minimum Requirements:

  • Good working conditions; climate controlled

  • Exposure to frequent movement of motorized equipment throughout production floor (Electric Pallet Jacks.)
