Clerk - Shipping & Receiving-Aromair Inventory Control
Job Title: Shipping/Material Handling Clerk
Shift: 2nd shift - 3:00pm-11:00pm
Assists in the movement (both incoming and outgoing) and storage of materials and finished goods in the warehouse. Position includes duties in data entry, inventory tracking, and driving fork lift.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reviews Purchase Orders, counts and verifies all incoming shipments, enters counts into appropriate inventory database, and prepares for movement to the designated storage area.
Prepares finished goods for shipment, including wrapping finished pallet in shrink wrap. Reviews and confirms that pallet matches travel sheet. Creates and prints shipping labels and Bills of Lading.
Uses forklift to load and unload trucks, moving in tight spaces. Loads trucks to customer specifications and to ensure safety and balance of the load.
Uses forklift to move pallets and other materials around the warehouse, including lifts to overhead storage. Moves completed pallets into trucks for shipment.
Test, prepare for transfer, document, and ensure appropriate disposal of all hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials.
Sort and organize empty pallets. Condense finished materials to use as few pallets as possible for long term storage needs.
Assists with physical inventories and cycle counts on daily basis.
Keeps warehouse clean and free of hazards at all times. Picks up small scraps immediately, runs floor cleaner daily, uses push broom to sweep under racks, and generally participates with the team to ensure a clean environment.

Requires high school diploma and experience with inventory data base systems. Requires training which may be provided by Aromair and certification as a fork lift driver/operator
