Engineer I - Electroplating Engineer (2nd Shift)

Malibu, CA, USA Req #183
Wednesday, November 13, 2019

Experienced engineer desired in the process of electroplating various metals. The ideal candidate would have 3 or more years of semiconductor related processing experience as well as 1 or more of those years directly in electroplating processes. Daily activities would include electroplating bath maintenance and statistical process control (SPC), performing thin film plating on production wafers in a highly mixed product environment, design of experiments (DOE), film analysis, and other routine tasks. Because the work is in a high mix laboratory, the candidate needs to be detail oriented and able to adapt on the fly. Typical analysis techniques would include contact profilometry, non-contact profilometry such as laser reflection, optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and occasionally electron diffraction x-ray (EDX). General skills required include the ability to work in a Class IV cleanroom environment, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, a strong understanding of chemistry, the ability to communicate effectively, and the ability to routinely lift 25lbs. This is a 2nd shift assignment with work shifts starting at 12:00 noon, M-F.
