Account Executive (Digital Media Group) - Western US

Diversified's Digital Media Group is currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Account Executive to join our growing Sales organization and drive business development across multiple industries. The qualified candidate must be able to ascertain and understand customer business issues, navigate the buying process and articulate the appropriate Diversified solutions, resulting in new sales.

We are targeting an individual that can work independently and is located in the Western United States. 

This position reports to the DMG Senior Director of Sales Operations. This position will require regular travel, estimated at 25%.
  
The job responsibilities of the Sales Account Executive include: 
  
•Work with the Sales Director to develop a sales plan to achieve assigned revenue and profit goals.
•Research target market segments to develop a thorough understanding of business needs, category and technology trends, and buying behaviors. 
•Develop new sales opportunities and build a robust sales pipeline through aggressive prospecting, cultivating referrals, leveraging partner relationships, and personal marketing.
•Provide DMG management with consistent, accurate opportunity updates and forecast of sales projections
•Close business to achieve or exceed assigned goals and objectives for sales revenue and gross profit margin
•Learn the features/benefits and value proposition associated with DMG’s services and become proficient at differentiating them from those of competitors.
•Work closely with colleagues and DMG senior management to capture client business requirements and align solutions with opportunities.
•Develop and deliver high-impact sales presentations and professional sales proposals
•Utilize the Diversified CRM system to track and report opportunities and sales activities 
•Participate in routine Sales team calls and meetings, networking and business development events along with other duties as assigned
•Represent Diversified professionally and ethically and demonstrate good judgment and common sense in handling customer issues

Qualifications and Requirements 
•Bachelor’s Degree preferred, 5+ years of successful business-to-business sales experience
•Professional demeanor with unquestionable integrity; focused on customer satisfaction
•Proven success building new business relationships with executive-level management;
•Self-motivated, achievement-oriented with superior planning and time management skills
•Excellent written communication and presentation skills 
•Strong business negotiation skills.   
•High technical aptitude and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical buyers
•Knowledge of digital signage or other related visual/interactive communication technologies highly preferred
•Background in selling technology solutions for luxury brands, specialty retail, automotive, food service, hospitality or financial services strongly preferred
•The individual must be able to work independently with a minimum of supervision and exercise strong written and verbal communication skills. 
•Experienced in consultative sales with long sales cycles
•Experienced user of software CRM tools. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.  
•Team oriented; Ability to collaborate cross functionally and to influence without direct authority
•Must be comfortable working in a deadline-oriented, fast paced business environment with shifting priorities.
