The Installation Site Supervisor (hourly with overtime) are the primary technical resource for the site labor management and wiring of electronic security systems (ESS) equipment on large scale enterprise projects.  

REMOTE anywhere in USA within a 2 hour commute of major airport; 90% + travel required


The Installation Site Supervisor will have a thorough understanding of managing site resources and installing electronic security systems to exact detail of specifications that are provided. Must have experience with Lenel and Axis.  A through understanding of SOW’s, schematics, and device installation best practices, site management, materials tracking, and subcontractor management are a must.  


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for site equipment installation based on the design package from the engineer
  • Provide daily project status updates to folder on company server
  • Provide weekly status updates and look ahead
  • Responsible for overseeing field labor assigned to the site to ensure maximum efficacy of labor usage
  • Responsible for performance in delivering contracted work
  • Responsible for each project’s ongoing, fully-documented communications between other trades, installation teams and management
  • Always anticipating, looking ahead for barriers which may de-rail project, developing structures or means to resolve unforeseen problems
  • Responsible for coordinating project documentation
  • Accountable for the timely, successful conclusion of all projects
  • Expected to provide management with instant notifications of potentially critical situations
  • Participates in testing and quality assurance processes to assure system meets client needs and corporate standards
  • Responsible for ensuring that hardware requisition/returns sheets are generated
  • Provide accurate information to management regarding the performance of installers assigned to projects
  • Responsible for reviewing timesheets for assigned team members
  • Enforce company approved installation methods and techniques
  • Ensure all work complies with company policies, procedures, standards and conventions
  • Assure each system’s build is in accordance with installation drawings and that red lines are delivered back to the Design Engineer in order to generate as-builts
  • Ensure that travel arrangements have been made for the transportation of Installers when assigned from other regions
  • Ensure all project participants maintain proper safety practices

Education/ Certifications:

  • 2-4 year Technical Degree plus 4-7 years project related experience
  • Lenel Certification Preferred

Required/Desired Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

  • previous experience in electronic security industry
  • Must have experience using hand tools of the ESS and electronic related trades. This includes but is not limited to, soldering tools/techniques, construction equipment such as scaffolding, hoists, pulleys, (concrete, brick & block) attachment devices, Unistrut steel support, etc.
  • Must be proficient with computers and current business software applications within the MS Office environment, experience with MS Project a plus
  • The position of Travel Project Supervisor requires the following attributes: technical capability, professionalism, self-motivation, self-discipline, attention to detail and advanced time management skills
  • The Project Supervisor must practice the highest level of customer service
