JOB SUMMARY:    The Research Analyst is responsible for planning and creating data-driven initiatives supporting multiple business functions. This role is primarily responsible for data management and analysis while supporting the data and analytics department with other research, analytics and database projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

45% Market Research and Analysis:

  • Work in conjunction with third party research firms (YouGov, Turnkey, NFL Voice of the Fan and other internal data) to extract consumer insights and deliver comprehensive summaries, analytics and actionable items.   
  • Create deliverables for multiple departments based on market research to assist in their goals.
  • Support the mission of the analytics and business intelligence team by providing data-based insight through secondary and primary research and analysis.
  • Scope and define research projects in partnership with internal stakeholders that deliver actionable findings.
  • Create custom addressable audience definitions to support sponsorship and premium ticket sales.
  • Create and maintain a lead scoring system for sponsorship and premium sales
  • Share insights to support various departmental needs as it relates to sponsorship sales, marketing and improving the customer/fan experience.

 

45% Business Research and Analysis: 

  • Create, maintain, and share fan profile reports using appended data from various sources.
  • Work with sponsorship to determine ROI on partnerships
  • Help build and update regular reports and build ad-hoc analyses supporting ticketing, sponsorship, and marketing
  • Use proactive tactics to create opportunities to expand data usage throughout organization.
  • Assist in expanding the current data environment to import new data sources and create connections between various departments.
  • Engage and Collaborate with multiple departments to find opportunities, understand requirements, and translate into technical data science solutions

 

10% Other: 

  • Research new technologies and methods across data science, data engineering, and data visualization to improve the technical capabilities of the team
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

 

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years of experience in data-driven industry or job function.
  • Proficiency with SQL
  • Experience with BI Tools (Tableau) a plus
  • Experience participating in vendor selection process and managing vendor relationships preferred.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and organization skills
  • Ability to manage numerous business relationships in a professional manner, including multiple concurrent projects across stakeholder groups.
  • Experience with YouGov, Nielson/Scarborough, Eloqua, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Ticketmaster a plus
  • Understanding of data acquisition
  • Self-motivated and solutions oriented
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Ability to work all home Broncos games, nights/weekends and keep a flexible schedule
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
  • Independent, creative problem-solver
  • Highly organized, motivated and responsible with good time and project management abilities - comfortable working on multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced team environment
