Position Summary:

The Manager of Data Analytics and Reporting role is responsible for supporting all business units at Club Quarters Hotels with data research and transformation for analytics. The ideal candidate will use multiple tools and resources to provide standard reports, ad hoc reports and statistical analysis. This individual will be responsible for ensuring data integrity and communicate data accurately across the organization at various levels of leadership.


Works directly with the business unit leaders and other internal business customers, vendors and 3rd party data providers, to understand reporting requirements, obtain data, and execute production of regular and ad hoc reports in a timely manner with a high degree of integrity and accuracy.

Manipulates and analyzes large data sources from multiple platforms.

Collect and evaluate business requirements for information

Define and develop dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analysis with external resources

Produces regular and ad-hoc reports to support various boundary partners such as the sales and marketing channels.

Evaluates reporting results through data investigation and analysis.

Identifies trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement based on data and results of reporting

Monitors ongoing data feeds and perform root cause analysis and investigations on data quality issues

Assist with developing, optimizing and maintaining complex data and reporting solutions (creating tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, error handling, etc.)



A strong aptitude for numbers

Knowledge of current analytics trends

Ability to learn complex data structure, prevailing data and business rules to produce precise sets for analytics

Proven track record to understand optimized SQL queries to manipulate very large data sets for analytics

Experience with running database queries

Experience in creating complex Excel Macros

Experienced with SAS skills

A curious and investigative nature to identify and to resolve possible data inaccuracies

Ability to double check and confirm results of queries and identify data issues before delivering to business

Motivated self-starter and self-learner

Organized and methodical



BA / BS in computer science, management information systems, statistics, mathematics or equivalent technical or semi-technical undergraduate degree OR equivalent experience

3 + years experience in a related role
