We are seeking a customer service-oriented, highly-motivated and experienced leader to join our world-class team as Assistant Manager of Columbia Ice Rink. Operating year-round, Columbia Ice Rink offers Columbia Association's members, guests and residents, fun programs and activities — including lessons, rentals, leagues, birthday parties and a snack bar.


The Ice Rink Assistant Manager, reporting to the General Manager, is an integral part of the leadership team. The Assistant Manager ensures a successful, safe, clean, functional and customer service-focused environment for our members, guests and associates.


The Assistant Manager works with the General Manager and other ice rink team leaders to achieve financial goals, deliver exceptional customer service, promote innovation and team education. The Assistant Manager assumes all responsibility for Columbia Ice Rink in the absence of the General Manager.


The Assistant Manager will assist in leading the team to provide excellent customer service per CA’s Service Excellence principles and to deliver on CA’s Mission, Vision and Values.


This is a challenging position, involving considerable responsibility, complexity and variety.


Requirements Include:


  • Minimum of two years’ experience working in a multi-recreational facility.

  • Minimum of two years’ management experience in a related industry required.

  • College degree with a major in business or management preferred.

  • Strong budgeting/finance experience a plus.
