Columbia Association is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to join our Senior Leadership Team in the role of “chief storyteller.” The CMO is responsible for the continuous development of CA’s unique and compelling voice and brand. Simultaneously, the CMO is CA’s “chief listener,” establishing strong two-way communications between the organization and its members, residents, community partners, and other stakeholders in a manner consistent with modern techniques and approaches for effective, customer-centric communications.

We have approximately 1,600 team members focused on enhancing the quality of life for current residents and attracting new families who wish to be part of our diverse and dynamic community. Our ideal candidate:

  • A proven entrepreneur with demonstrated willingness, passion, and abilities to effectively produce innovations and positive business outcomes either within the startup context or as part of an autonomous group within a larger organization.

  • 10 years of marketing, growth hacking, product development, and/or business development experience in positions of increasing responsibility with a focus on digital marketing.

  • 10 years of experience in one or more leadership roles with responsibilities of managing staff and budgets.

A bachelor’s degree in a subject or field applicable to the position’s requirements for a breadth of cross-functional knowledge and depth of knowledge in strategy development and data analytics.
