Duties:

  • Assist in interpreting and applying Air Force and DoD Personnel/Human Resource laws, regulations, policies, and practices across various hiring mechanisms.
  • Assist with identifying HR related operational issues and provide recommendations with some guidance, review or revision.
  • Assist in writing a wide variety of technical documents including drafting policies, standard operating procedures, correspondence, reports, and project implementation documents.
  • Assist with workforce planning for steady state operations, emerging and/or long range staffing and in response to surges in hiring/requirement management.
  • Apply skills in position classification and management principles to assist management with the establishment of efficient and effective organizational structures, workforce analysis and position descriptions for various hiring mechanisms. 
  • Assist with responses to data calls and personnel/workforce planning inquiries.  Gather information and prepare documents in response to data calls or internal audit requests. 
  • Provide expertise to support effective and efficient utilization and command and control of additional personnel to meet the Deputy's Management Action Group (DMAG) directed mission requirements of the JFHQ-C and Cyber Operations Integrated Planning Elements (CO-IPE). 
  • Assist in the development of and proposal of organizational structures that aid in the creation of position descriptions, and coordinate requirements with both Higher-Headquarters organizational elements and Combatant Commands. 
  • Assist with creating and maintaining unit manning documents and update systems/directories with appropriate information.
  • Assist with the review and restructure requirement and authorization/manpower documents to ensure accuracy (e.g. command control numbers, unit identification codes, and standard requirement codes, levels of organization, unit designations, effective dates, designated organization elements, position titles, and personnel allocations and authorizations).
  • Coordinates, maintains, and supports the maintenance of current and future authorization documents.  Ensures that timely and correct modifications are applied to the authorization documents.
  • Support the conduct of unit organizational integration and organizational management functions in accordance with the applicable regulations, policies, and procedures and provides documentation assistance.
