The CCI Alliance of Companies is looking for Database Manager to perform the following duties:
Create tailored applications and graphical GUI's utilizing Access. SQL and Visual Basic for the Environmental Division at Redstone Arsenal Garrison Headquarters. Apply database analysis, customized development, programming, and maintenance to environmental databases and programs. Install operating system upgrades, organize data transfers between computers, run system checks/ diagnostics and support the environmental division on computer/program problems and other technical issues when needed. Responsible for the configuration, function, security, data distribution and performance of these databases. Develop a data management system to support all of EMD, including current databases, under one umbrella, such as SharePoint internal site. Maintain or improve current databases. Develop tool to link Restoration analytical data with GIS so that the data can be accessed/viewed through the GIS system. This tool must be included in the data management system, along with current Restoration databases. Assist with IT support to EMD and assist with the inventory of EMD IT equipment. Serve as the liaison between EMD and NEC. Must be able to write/update programs in MicroSoft Access, SQL, and Oracle; Must be able to develop mapping in ArcGIS and link to analytical data in various formats (Excel, SQL); Must understand enough computer support to serve as NEC liaison.
Education/Experience:
Degree in related field
At least 3 years of related experience.
Requirements/Skills:
Applicant must be able to gain security access to Redstone Arsenal and any subsequent project locations within. Applicant must possess a valid driver’s license. Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Check will be required.
