Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Photographer will work to
cover and document events as well as work to produce content through creative
photo shoots for Associated Students Inc., CSUF. This position is responsible
for all aspects of photography; shooting, and editing. The Photographer must be
a highly motivated, outgoing, and enthusiastic individual looking to gain
experience in both event and creative photography.
as a member of the ASI Marketing and Design creative team.
edit, and finalize photo content for marketing and communications of ASI
programs, events, and internal corporate communications.
major and minor ASI events as requested.
update server archive of all photography for the organization.
Experience Requirements and Abilities:
- Must be a currently enrolled CSUF
student. Major in Visual Arts or Communications strongly preferred.
in photography with an emphasis on portraiture, and event coverage or
- 2+ years
of experience shooting and editing photo projects utilizing
DSLR/Mirrorless camera workflows.
with photography fundamentals: shutter speed, aperture, ISO, etc.
with flash use preferred.
- Ability to work
with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong knowledge
of photography principles: lighting, angles, composition, continuity,
depth of field, etc.
- Strong technical
knowledge of digital cameras and related equipment.
- Skilled with
photo grading software such as Adobe Lightroom.
proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
good verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
