We’re looking for amazing people! Come join VHDA as a Senior Contract Manager. This important role will manage VHDA’s exposure to supplier risk by mitigating contract risk, responding to supplier inquiries, resolving complaints, and recommending and implementing contract improvements. They act as the point of contact for internal and external customers regarding concerns with active contracts.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Establishes contract strategy and drives implementation of strategic contract opportunities with suppliers who have the most significant impact to the organization, typically identified as Tier 1 suppliers.

  • Identifies, mitigates, and controls contract risk through necessary adjustments to contract terms, and partnering with Legal to approve all changes to contract terms.   

  • Participates in development of internal business alliances and partnering.

  • Conducts renewal / extension negotiations with suppliers.

  • Supports Procurement leadership related to Supplier Management strategy, improvement in contracting processes, and resolving issues that may arise.

  • Monitors supplier technical, quality, delivery and financial performance to identify potential risks, issues and opportunities. 

Qualified candidates must possess several years of diverse business experience in IT procurement related activities.  Several years of IT contract management, IT supplier management, or related business experience. B.S. degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration preferred and/or relevant job experience in contract management and/or supplier management; or equivalent experience.

Hiring Range: $78,857 - $102,513
