Quality Assurance Business Analyst
We’re looking for amazing people! Come join VHDA as a Quality Assurance Business Analyst . This important role will be responsible for all aspects of quality assurance and/or quality control reviews for VHDA’s Homeownership Originations functions. This role is also responsible for testing processes for compliance with regulatory, state and investor guidelines; partnering with the Mortgage Loan Compliance Officer to perform research and analysis on regulatory requirements; and making process improvement recommendations to management related to internal controls.
Responsibilities will include:
Designing quality review plan(s) and testing reports that correspond to business initiatives and processes.
Conducting oversight reviews of the line of business’s internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory, investor and internal requirements.
Preparing and delivering business cases based on solid analysis and review findings.
Performing analysis of exceptions to identify root cause and systemic errors.
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Several years of mortgage operations experience and quality assurance/control. Lean Six Sigma training or certification, several years of Mortgage Loan Processing, Closing and/or Underwriting experience, knowledge of project management lifecycle and Project Management Certification, preferred. Experience with Loan Origination Software and advanced skills and knowledge in Excel and/or business intelligence and analytic software. Fully versed in the requirements and standards set by FHA, VA, RD, PMI, VHDA as well as, SAFE, RESPA, RegZ, MDIA, FACTA, TRID and any other existing or new regulatory guidelines.

Hiring Range: $68,568 - $89,138
