Cable Sales Outreach Specialist. - Summersville, WV
Work directly for Shentel Cable selling and promoting Shentel Cable products directly and door to door, with a focus on video, high-speed internet and home phone services. The Direct Sales Representative will increase product penetration in designated residential areas through sales to current, former and new customers. Direct Sales Representatives are self- directed individuals who are motivated by customer satisfaction, goal attainment and earnings potential. Direct Sales Representatives are compensated through base salary and generous commission plan.
a. Education: High school or GED equivalent
b. Experience Level: Previous experience in direct sales is preferred, with an emphasis on direct door to door sales.
c.. Skills Summary: Demonstrates effective sales, listening and time management skills.
d. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
e. Positive, can-do attitude with strong customer focus.
f. Possess ability to learn and execute marketing/selling techniques.
g. Basic knowledge of mathematics.
h. Consistently develops and sustains supportive work relationships.
i. Professional appearance and behavior required.
j. Good time management and organizational skills.
k. Proficiency with computers, laptops and tablets running the Microsoft Suite applications including Excel, as well as other productivity applications.
l. Licenses or Certifications: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, insured and reliable vehicle are required.
