Paya is seeking a Senior Manager/Director for Product Marketing. The candidate's role is to understand the buyer and market, and drive go-to-market strategy to impact revenue growth. Reporting to the Head Of Marketing, the Senior Product Marketing Manager’s responsibility is to communicate the solution’s value to the market.
Responsibilities: 

The ideal candidate will understand the solution strategy, personas, the competitive landscape, and develop the tools and programs needed to introduce and sell the solution in market.


The assigned resource will work with product managers, developers, designers, business stakeholders, and others to develop innovative programs that drive visibility and demand. An attention to detail and eye for quality are critical to success, along with an ability to grasp and present our solution’s value proposition in a way that resonates and clearly articulates how we solve our buyers’ problems. The ideal candidate is curious, open minded, flexible, a fast learner, obsessed with data, and always has an eye on the big picture while executing the details that make campaigns great.

Required Skills/Qualifications:
1). Domain Expertise:
Experience in the payments industry and an ability to quickly ramp knowledge on Paya’s platform and business model and offerings.
2). Market Intelligence: Be the expert on buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria. Must have minimum 8-10 years Product, Solutions or Industry Strategy and Marketing experience, ideally in payments domain.
3). Competitor Intelligence/ Landscape: Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.
4). Product Positioning & Messaging: Collaborate with Product Management to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas and demonstrate differentiated value. Should be trained, versed, and a practitioner in product and solution marketing methodologies with around 8 years experience.
5). Understanding Customer buying cycle/Journey: Understand and document the buyer’s process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn.
6). Experience in developing & executing a marketing plan for solution areas, including KPI's: Previous success delivering features, enhancements and product optimizations to market in a consumer facing, ecommerce environment. Must be able to develop a marketing plan for the products you support in conjunction with our marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers. Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support your products on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes.
7). Drive net-new launch programs: Plan the launch of net-new features / releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.  
8). Serve as a though leader/evangelist for products supported:
Within Product, act as a primary thought leader for the products you support externally, including speaking engagements and written works.
9). Understand/support sales channels; lead training; educate and drive sales enablements: Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it relative to the buyer lifecycle.

This role will be based in Atlanta, GA. candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country without any visa restrictions.
