Job Description: 

Paya is looking for an experienced Laravel/PHP Developer with mid-level experience developing web applications. We are a full-service end-to-end payment processor focused on integrated payments. As a team of our expanding company, you will have exposure to challenging assignments, growth opportunities and access to company leaders. Responsibilities:
Participate in the development of the technical specifications by designing, developing and test software in PHP development environment.
Develop and maintain applications based on established specifications. You will work together closely with other front-end developers within the team.
Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP code.
Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
Troubleshoot technical issues that come up within the production environment as needed.
Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in web technologies.

Experience/Qualifications:
 
  • 3+ years of recent production-quality PHP product development experience
  • Experience developing applications with at least one PHP web framework such as Laravel is preferred. Yii framework or Laravel/LAMP Stack.
  • Rest API (strong knowledge). Experience using HTML, CSS & JavaScript.
  • Code Versioning Tools (such as GIT)
  • OOP skills and knowledge of design patterns
  • Solid understanding of MySQL.
  • Experience working in a hands-on, action-oriented culture, with a proven ability to work well under pressure and adapt to change quickly.
  • Experience developing user interfaces using a JavaScript framework such as Vue.js, React.js, or Angular is preferred.
