JOB SUMMARY:  Responsible for the overall supply chain management. This role responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods. Under general direction has responsibility for ensuring that logistic requirements are met, appropriate staffing levels are maintained, employee relations are good, and a safe/clean work environment is maintained.  Plans, directs, coordinates, and controls logistic and warehousing activities in assigned work area to achieve all established goals, especially on-time delivery is maintained or exceeded. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction


JOB FUNCTIONS:  Duties may include but are not limited to the following.


  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
  • Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, carriers and customers
  • Keep track of department actions for quality, discrepancies, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
  • Warehouse layouts, inventory goals, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints by working with cross functional team
  • Supervise, coach and train logistics and warehouse workforce
  • Meet cost, productivity, inventory goals and accuracy and timeliness targets
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
  • Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements


Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
License: Clean Driving Record,preferred, not required
Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing setting with proven successful track record. Analytical abilities with problem solving methodology and a passion for achieving operational excellence.
Knowledge: Communicates effectively with co-workers and supervisors. Able to read and write basic English for daily paperwork as well as basic math skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to develop and implement the use of processes and procedures.  Ability to use all relevant systems, programs, and equipment to complete job
Other Requirements: Interpret written and oral instructions. Work effectively with minimal supervision. Analyze situations and take appropriate action.
